AppGap.

Privacy

AppGap does not require an account and does not ask for your name or email. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not sell data.

Location. We read a two-letter country code from your connection to suggest an initial App Store. It is used only to preselect the storefront, which you can change at any time. No IP address, city or coordinates are stored.

Reports. A report stores the apps you selected, the public App Store reviews we analyzed, and the generated analysis. Reports are reachable by their unguessable link.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. AppGap never receives or stores your card details.

Usage. We count a small number of anonymous events — a report started, an analysis finished or failed, a paywall shown, a checkout opened, a report unlocked — so we know whether AppGap works. Those records hold an event name, the report id and counts. They do not hold your IP address, and AppGap uses no third-party analytics or tracking service.

AppGap reads public App Store reviews only and is not affiliated with Apple.
